At Apostles Anglican Church, we desire to be the kind of Christian community that has a local, regional, and global vision for service. Through a ministry of both prayer and presence, we are seeking ways to engage and partner with other ministries who are laboring in the Kingdom of God. Please look at the opportunities for outreach ministry below, both with Apostles and through ministry partnerships in Knoxville and beyond.
Current Outreach Projects at Apostles
Circles of Support
Presently a group of 4 Apostles members serve as mentors for a Knoxville neighbor desiring to leave a homeless lifestyle. This project is supported through Knoxville’s Ten Year Plan Mentoring Program. If you would like to join another Support Circle to befriend a neighbor in this program, please contactJack King.
Intercessory Prayer for Ministry Partners
This summer, Apostles assembled a team of intercessors who would be committed to praying for the tangible needs of our ministry partners (listed below). If you feel called both to prayer and mission, serving on our Intercessory Team for these ministry partners is an excellent way to participate in outreach efforts at Apostles. Interested? Please contact Richard Trevillian, Outreach Ministries Council Representative.
