Prayer

Apostles' Prayer Room

Apostles Anglican Church is an answer to prayer for many members. Prayer preceded meetings, planning, and directions that took shape as Apostles Anglican emerged.

Prayer at Apostles Anglican is where we begin. We offer our praises, thanksgivings, confessions, and petitions. We wait on the Lord for His direction, His guidance, and His presence. As we say “Our Father,” the Lord responds with “Come away, my Beloved.” We are continually discovering the power of prayer as we seek the Face of God.

While prayer permeates all we do at Apostle, the ministries listed below are tangible opportunities for our community to gather together for the sole purpose of praying together.

Intercessory Prayer

We lift people and their needs before the Lord during our corporate worship services on Sunday and daily through our intercessory prayer team. Prayer requests are submitted to our team of intercessors by emailing our Intercessory Prayer Team.

Prayer before Morning Worship

Each Sunday morning, a small group of intercessors gathers in the Apostles Prayer Room from 8:30-8:50 to pray for the morning worship services. Prayers are lifted for the worship leaders, preachers, participants, as well as regular attenders and visitors. We know that God moves in remarkable ways when we pray for our worship services, and this prayer time is a wonderful help to prepare one’s heart for worship.

Prayer Teams and Healing Prayer

We have in place experienced prayer teams to pray with individuals immediately after each service in the sanctuary area. Additional times may be arranged as needed.

If you would like to receive prayer at another time during the week, you may contact the clergy and staff: 865-385-6686 or office@apostlesonline.org

You can also fill out a prayer request card in Morning Worship with your request and indicate whether you want it included in our public prayer, or restricted to the prayer team.
