Amy grew up in Sweetwater, TN, and graduated from UT in 2002 with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. She received her Masters degree in Urban/Multicultural Education in 2003. Following her education, she taught at Sarah Moore Green Elementary School, Greene Magnet Math and Science Academy, and Sam E. Hill Pre-school. After teaching, and prior to joining the staff of Apostles, Amy was a pharmaceutical sales rep for Wraser Pharmaceuticals. Amy enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, hiking and camping, spending time in the Great Smoky Mountains, and spending time with Marlee her cat, as well as Sophie and Yana, her Siberian Huskies.
