The following the Member Covenant that is signed by anyone, fourteen years and older, who wishes to become a member at Apostles Anglican Church. To have the opportunity to do so, please attend one of our Discovery Courses—offered each January and August.
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.” Colossians 3:15
In the Bible, the term “member” describes belonging to a body, a living organism, and a family. Being a member of the body of Christ implies relationship rather than living by regulations or belonging to a club. To that end, Apostles Anglican Church offers to covenant with you to grow in the knowledge and love of God and to grow in spiritual disciplines to experience the fullness of a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
Apostles Anglican Church is committed to you and your Christian discipleship, desiring to grow along with you in the timeless truths made known through God’s revelation in the Scriptures. As you become a part of this body, we encourage you to discern with us how your God-given gifts can best be employed for the His glory, and to discover how you can best be equipped for the advancement of the Gospel.
Therefore, that portion of the body of Christ called Apostles Anglican Church covenants with you to grow in the knowledge and love of God through a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. With God’s help, we will support, encourage, and equip you to be the child of God you have been created to be in each of the seasons of your life.
“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household.” Ephesians 2:19
By the grace of God, I have been baptized by water and the Holy Spirit and proclaim Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I have read and I support the Mission and Values statements of Apostles Anglican Church. After prayerful consideration and asking God’s guidance, I hereby join this church family. Therefore, relying upon the strength given by God’s Holy Spirit and the support of this new church family, I make the following commitments.
- With God’s help, I will share in the life of this church: by faithfully attending services…by joining in fellowship with other church family members… by growing in faith and godliness… by the disciplines of personal prayer and scripture reading…by praying for the fruitfulness of Apostles, its ministry, its health, its people and its leaders…and by generous giving, and whenever I fall into sin, I will repent and return to the Lord.

Each of you, on the first day of each week, should set aside a specific sum of money in proportion to what you have earned and use it for the offering – 1 Corinthians 16: 2
- With God’s help, I will protect the peace and unity of this church: by committing to both love and integrity in my relationships with others…by pursuing reconciliation with other church family members when needed…by refusing to gossip and instead speaking well of others …and by supporting and encouraging godly leadership.
